Fickle southerly evening breeze

There was no racing on Sunday but a warm dry Wednesday evening encouraged a few sailors onto the water. The day’s wind looked as though it was dying but with the start and race track being kept away from the sheltered clubhouse shore, there was enough to play with. Although it was shifty, there were a few cracking gusts that were enough to keep the competitors jostling for positions. Grateful thanks to Lyn Harland for volunteering to stand an extra duty as RO and for setting a great course.
