A big thank you to all of you who turned for the work party today.
We managed to get most of the important jobs done, below are just a couple of them.
New gate post fitted at entrance from car park to slipway
New pole installed for weather station
Because the grass was very wet it was decided not to cut it today, so members when you come to the club please spare a little time to do some mowing.
On a separate note the new season starts next Sunday 1st April, look forward to seeing you there.
Members are reminded we have our Spring Work Party on Saturday 24 March starting 9.00am. This is a chance for all members to get together and participate in a socially fun day for the benefit of all.
Steve know if you are coming so we know how many to cater for.
See poster for more detail.

The 2018 sailing season starts on Sunday 1st April. Now’s the time to brush off the cobwebs and check fixture and fittings. Here’s to a year of great sailing.
Join us in the clubhouse to celebrate the end of another fantastic year of sailing. Racing will start at 11am and prizes awarded to the winners. Mince pies and mulled wine will be free to all members and available lunchtime. Even if you are not sailing, come along and enjoy the festivities.
The Winter Series starts on Sunday 5 November and concludes with the Christmas Pudding Race on the 10 December. Recreational sailors are welcome also.
Each sailor, racer and recreational, are required to do at lest one duty during the series. Please log into Dutyman, select ‘Volunteer for a Duty’ on the Roster page and click on the swap symbol to the right of the duty you would like to do. Once you have volunteered, you are automatically entitled to sail the series.
Despite very light and variable wind for the 1st two Sunday races the wind picked up a little for our Father’s Day race.
‘Tea On The Lawn’ followed with scones, butter, jam and of course clotted cream.
It was a great success and would propose that we put it on the calendar for next year, thanks to all that made it happen.
