Racing starts at 11.00am followed by mince pies and mulled wine.
All members welcome, whether you race or not. Just come along to enjoy the festive cheer. All we ask is for you to email Steve, firstname.lastname@example.org, so we have an idea how many mince pies to buy/make.

The racing will be a fun event to encourage non-racers and handicap allowances will be made for new racers and fancy dress:
40 additional points for new racers.
30 additional points to each of the top 3 best dressed boats and crew.
15 additional points for all other dressed boats and/or crew.
To avoid collisions, all normal sailing rules apply but there will be no shouting “starboard” or “water”. Anyone caught shouting these words will have to do a 360 penalty. For ‘starboard’ replace it with “hello, how are you”, for ‘water’ or ‘water at the mark’, replace it with “nice weather for sailing”. All others, just be polite.
Please make the effort and come along. It should be a fun day.
The Day will start at 11am with a race, everyone is welcome to take part experts and novices alike.
