Father’s Day race and ‘Tea On The Lawn’

Despite very light and variable wind for the 1st two Sunday races the wind picked up a little for our Father’s Day race.

‘Tea On The Lawn’ followed with scones, butter, jam and of course clotted cream.

It was a great success and would propose that we put it on the calendar for next year,  thanks to all that made it happen.

Today’s Sailing

Challenging conditions for sailing today with some strong gusts causing  plenty of capsizes.

A growing fleet of RS400’s dominated the day with 4 of them racing, good to see our younger members making the most of what DSC has to offer.

Push The Boat Out 2017

A great day for both DSC and SYCSA.

It was a big success with around  200 people attending and over 80 people going  for a taster sail, some more than once.

There was a good breeze at times which added to the excitement for our guests.

We had 3 new members join on the day and also sold one of our club boats.

Many thanks to all those who helped, it was an enjoyable day for everyone.
