Plymouth Sailing Week 27 July – 03 August 2024

Club members have a wonderful opportunity to join in the Annual Sea Sailing week at Plymouth, hosted by our RYA training section.

Sea sailing is a different experience and this is a great opportunity especially if you have not tried sea sailing before.

Shortly we shall be asking you to book a place on the campsite. The campsite are expecting us during the week. We have booked a boat park area for boats at Turnchapel. For people towing their own boat there is little to do other than book your place at the campsite ( or arrange other accommodation) and let Joy know you are intending to be part of the group.

If you have cannot tow or if you would like to use a Centre boat ( eg prefer a wayfarer for the family rather than a Laser) then this should be possible- towing is always the limiting factor!

People will be expected to do a stint in the safety boat for a day.

A yacht is available for dinghy sailors who fancy a sail in a larger boat and for family members who may not be so keen on dinghies!

If you have additional towing capacity then assistance is always welcome.
